My eldest daughter has taken a keen interest in paper folding. Thanks to my husband who started it all by making paper airplanes for her. On odd weekends, they will sit down together, use up our scrap paper that was destined for the recycling and build a fleet of paper airplanes. Recently, she's been free flowing, folding paper up a storm making animal corner bookmarks and a paper finger game. This is something that I want to encourage so I went online to find out more.

Chances are if you have a style flair, you’re also a fan of wearing scarves. Scarves are great for every season - from light chiffon scarves for spring and summer to voluminous cashmere scarves for fall to thick wool scarves for winter - scarves are the perfect accessory to compliment any outfit. Have you tried stylising or wear your scarf differently? Without any idea how to do it, that part can actually be tricky!

Printables are great, as you will always own the file, so you can print and reprint whenever you need to! Try this printable recipe card that I stumble upon at The Creativity Exchange, for you to write down all those family recipes you may have accumulated over the years. Some of you may just want to shake things up by trying a new and healthier recipe or just simply wants to tidy up your recipe collections. You can't find a better way to write down those recipes in a cute stock card such as this. Also, If I may add I am in love with watercolor art! Trend wise... it's so hot right now so you're in for a treat.

The "California Roll" makes changing your cover Soooooooo much easier.

Nothing says frustrating like trying to put on a duvet cover by yourself. In a world of Androids, dishwashers, and all sorts of tech gadgets, you'd think we would have found a simpler solution to this cumbersome housekeeping task by now.

Decorating your home for the Easter holiday is always interesting because nothing is more meaningful than something made by yourself. With a little time, you can make this Edible Easter Terrarium to add festive atmosphere to your Easter decorated home and impress your kids this Easter in a unique way!

One of the traditions around here in ‘K clan’ is decorating our own Easter Eggs (and for lots of you out there too, I'm sure) There’s something in decorating eggs for Easter that charms me and my kids.  It's just a fun thing to do together - messy, colourful, creative, and... together.

Can you believe that Valentine’s Day is already over? This year seems to be flying by. Well, March is surely rushing in and so as the shamrocks, leprechauns, rainbow, pots of gold, and you already know what I am talking about… St. Patrick's Day! Yay! Thanks to hubby who is of Irish descent that we are celebrating Paddy’s day. Exciting!

Oh my, this week has flown by! It's been pretty eventful around here at the 'K' clan. It’s a nice weather to be out and about in Dubai and we are certainly taking advantage.

It’s the time of the year again when my daughter needs to dress up as her favourite book character for the 'World Book Day Celebration' in her school. Now you see, I can save myself the trouble and just let her be ‘Queen Elsa’ (let it go, let it go...) she got the whole caboodle anyways - dress, tiara, shoes, etc. However, I have this nagging feeling that there’ll be an army of Queen Elsa streaming through the school gates and my daughter will just be another Elsa that will get lost in the crowd.

Hubby and I had our late wedding anniversary dinner date recently at Prime68 based on some online recommends and reviews. The ambiance is nice, with some wonderful views - you have a perfect breath-taking urban skyline view, the buzzing of SZR and the Canal and that is Prime68's unique selling point, and it's a strong one to have.

If you've cooked up a party recently, you know the importance of offering your guests a great favour at the end. I don't know about you but I love personalising favours, I feel that by doing so, I am giving my guests a special bit of who I am which is nice. Whether it's a wedding, birthday party, or shower - guests appreciate a favour that is thoughtful, creative, and festive. Offering guests a token of your appreciation for coming is always the sign of a good host.

I didn't realise how much Dubai have grown in terms of kids entertainment centres, how the indoor play area in the city have evolved in so many levelsI mean, gone are the days when indoor play centres meant just a tired soft play area, which offers all the usual suspects such as ball pit, climbing structure, and one or two boring slides. Well, not anymore... the indoor play centre scene in Dubai had become brutally competitive that kids and parents are swamped with options, the dilemma of where to take the kids for an indoor play date is just too much to handle (first world problem!).

I enjoy many things about motherhood. Changing diapers is not one of them. So when my second daughter (who I am currently potty training) won't respond to my old-fashioned method, I decided to reach out for other alternative means to train her.
